All you need to know about Port’s Auskick Program.
NAB AFL Auskick is the best way to introduce kids to the great game of Aussie Rules Football! It’s all about fun, getting hands on the ball and constantly being involved in exciting activities.
No AFL experience? No worries! Auskick offers an inclusive environment for everyone aged 5 – 12 at any skill level to play.
The Ports Football Club offers the Auskick Program at our training nights, alternatively held at Port Neill and Arno Bay home grounds.
The Ports Football Club further supports the development of these little footballers, by enabling Auskickers to play a game during the half time break of our A grade football games.
Auskick is a great way for children to learn about Australian Rules Football, while developing skills and teamwork. The children are taught the basic skills of how to kick, mark, handball and bouncing in a safe and friendly environment where they are put through a number of activities and football drills. Regardless of their ability, children will improve their ball handling skills, health, fitness and confidence playing a team sport.
The program also allows parents to get involved by assisting with the activities and drills. The Auskick program is run by volunteers, and parental assistance is encouraged and can be very rewarding.

Cheers, Cheer’s,
Here we are the Port’s,
Its only now and then we lose a game (Lose a Game)
If we play the ball around at our home or any ground,
If we only played the ball, and not the man (not the man)
Did we win? We did!
